Finally! An assembly that challenges students to put their science knowledge to the test! All the trimmings of a Hollywood game show - excitement, multiple-round team competition and learning! Everyone wins with this ultimate hands-on participation assembly!
Eight students per round test their science knowledge, as team responses and points are electronically tallied on the scoreboard. Over eighty students will participate in each session! “The Science Game” uses questions drawn from general science studies, and is designed to be fast-paced, challenging, and reinforces learned scientific facts about the world in which we live.


Grade Level: K - 8 Length of Show: 50 Minutes
The Zap Science Show is a special science sampler designed to entertain and instruct a wide range of ages, where fun audience participation is paramount. This show presents a variety of choice experiments, drawn from past and present show offerings that have proven to be audience favorites! Experience what it would be like to be a human gyroscope; explore strange similarities of water and air, with an unusual twist! A "brave" volunteer will help test drive a weird, fun craft; enjoy fascinating explorations with static electricity. Witness sound traveling across the stage...see it-not just hear it! This program was originally developed for presentation at many Border's Bookstores, as well as numerous shows in public libraries in several states.

The Odd! The unusual! The scientific! Students will believe! Graduate from armchair to adventure in this novel way to experience the scientific world around us! With audience helpers, Dr. Zap demonstrates the wonders of science and the unbelievable becomes real with amusing, informative experiments. What everyone learns about sight may never let you trust your eyes again! One lucky student will see with their ears. The weakest will become the strongest in an "empowering" physics test. (Knowledge is power!) Dr Zap gives mathematical proof and shows that folding a single piece of paper many times will lead to an astonishing outcome! Students become part of an electrical circuit...and more! Through Dr. Zap shows, science concepts are entertainingly brought to life!
